Helllllp...I have a 1985 4-wheel drive, non shuttle shift 3450DT with Front Loader.
Why am I getting hydraulic oil coming out of the threaded holes in the side of the Flywheel housing. There once was plastic plugs in these hole, I guess to protect the threads...I have since put pipe plugs in them and now the oil is weeping out of the inspection plate on the other side of the housing. When I bought this it was a non runner. The previous owner told me it had a rear main seal gone. Like a dummy
, I changed it out, taking the loader off and splitting the tractor. Now I am fearing that it was another seal between the transmission and the flywheel housing that was bad and not the rear main.
Any suggestions? I appreciate the assistance from this forum and thank you in advance for it.
