Trying to help a neighbor who rotor tills 1/2 the towns smaller gardens for free.
1) The 3-point, will intermittently not respond to a lift... a jiggle, and yell, a curse... then it does.
2) The 3-point will fade and slowly lower.
I'm an old time shade-tree mechanic by not much if any experience with Hydraulics. I've searched and read. Should I do the following without blinking an eye:
1) replace the 3-point piston o-rings.
2) disassemble, clean, and replace the hydraulic controller o-rings.
3) drain, refill, change filter and add STP.
Spring is here in NH and there are lots of older lady's waiting for their skinny Kenny-Rogers to come till their gardens... :)
Many thanks.
