Famous last words this should be a pretty simple.

I have an '07 MX5000 with a LA852 loader. I hope to use the existing loader control to occasionally power a rear remote cylinder.

The loader control is the Kubota OEM joystick type. I was told by 2 Kubota dealer that there should be no problem doing this (recognizing that the loader would be only partly functional)so.....

1) I made up a pair of new hoses with Snap-Tite female quick couplers on either end.
2) I disconnected the hoses for the bucket tilt (the 2 outside most connections on the valve body) and connected the rear remote hoses that I prepared.
3)Then I plugged a new new 2.5" x 8" tie rod remote cylinder (complete with new hoses & tips).

When I worked the joystick right and left several times and the cylinder extended but would not retract. So I tried plugging the loader back in and the tilt worked just fine.

Against my best judgement I tried bleeding the cylinder/hoses and the tractor and I got a nice freaking oil bath. With some degree of difficulty I was able to compress the cylinder by hand (with the cylinder drain plug unscrewed) to ensure it was not stuck or seized.

Unfortunately I didn't have time to try swapping the couplers around at the valve or rear of tractor.

What if anything have I done wrong or failed to do? Any recommendations?

Thanks.
