Does anyone know how to get a Kubota factory customer service rep on the phone? I have a 3 year old ZD28 with a 60 inch Pro Deck that does nothing but mow my own yard and has 158 hours on it. The deck belt came off the first time when it had less than 20 hours. I just figured I got something under it or whatever and it was a fluke. It is a first class cussing deal to get it out from under the idler and back on. From that time it would come off 3 or 4 times a year. Last fall I bought a new belt and was going to run it until the old one came off again and then replace it. It didnt so I had the deck serviced and belt put on this spring. They supposedly checked it thoroughly but I never made it from the shop to the yard before it came off twice. I actually think it was off when I picked it up. I took it to another dealer and they took one look and said the idler arm was out of line. They put a new $46 arm and charged me $260 labor--talk about a hosing! Anyhow I think that fixed it. Of course it is out of warranty but I am out $600 on a deck with 158 hours on it and they supposedly never give any trouble. I never considered it a warranty issue at the time. However in hindsight,I would like to take up the issue with somebody above my dealer to see if thay would help on the cost. They have promised to provide me a number but have not.Any help is greatly appreciated.
