I personally would take a digital photo or diagram what wire goes where, or remove wires individually from old and place them on the new so you dont get them mixed up
did you eliminate all other sources of battey drain ? If not I'd check those first to possibly save the cost of a switch for a worn wire grounding and draining the battery
