I bet you add stuff to your motor oil too. It astonishes me that some yahoo with a can of sludge will think he can do better than labs full of lubrication chemists. Oil additives don't do any good, and can do real harm by screwing up the engineered properties of a fluid.
STP does not reduce friction in HST transmissions, it increases it, and makes the gear box run hotter. The seal softening additives shorten the life of the seals. You are just falling for the hype on the can. Save your money and stick to the recommended service intervals, using the lubricants in the owner's manual.
