That oil hole is for the transmission, UDT
oil goes in it, you dont go by looking into
the hole for the level, you will either have
a dipstick or a site glass down on the side
of the tranny, it's about the size of a nickel
and the fluid should be in the middle of the
glass with the engine off. Never use any thing
but Kubota UDT fluid in it. Most people use
Shell Rotella 15w40 or Chevron Delo 400 15w40
in the engine, but the 15w40 part depends on
where you live, down south go with 30w, up
north you may have to go with 10w30 in the
winter and 15w40 in the summer. The weight
depends on you and how you feel about it.
the manual says anywhere from 5w20 to 30w.
