That's better than what I did, I filled a half full push mower tank with diesel, it ran fine too, cept it ran on when I tried to shut it off.
I was putting the blame on "ethanol gas" till the next morning when I started to fill the mower again from the same jug and realized it was diesel.
drained and refilled with gas, no harm done.
