Having a little excessive oil will not cause
a seal to blow. It may blow out the filler
over flow, but nothing will hurt. The oil
flowing out the shaft is a blown seal. It's
not a hard repair, just have the seal when
you remove the lift arm to access it.
excessive oil doesn't cause higher oil pressure to blow seals. It may seep or blow
out the filler tube breather and make a mess.
I would rather see a little much oil than not
enough.
