Open the hood pulling the short vertical lever to the right of the steering wheel backwards/down.
Look for the dipstick on the left side of the engine (looking forward) near the front. It will have a heavy wire finger size circle at the end. Remove, whipe the oil on the bottom off. Insert and hold for a second or so and remove again. The oil level should be between the two lines at the bottom of the dipstick. If it is below the bottom line add oil to bring up to near (but not over) the top line.
