Yes,it is probably the seal and you are getting the hydralic oil into the crankcase. My B21 did the same thing. You can get a dye and a ultra violet test kit to test it if you want. It puts dye into the hydralics and then you use the light to see if it got into the oil. It shines green if I remember. Good Luck..Matt
