Hi there. I just went through a similar problem with my L3300. I think the wiring is pretty much standard for all the L series. I am a mechanic and I was able to trace back the problems to the fuse box under the left side of the dash by the clutch pedal. The design is really bad and the tiny blades that hold the fuses were corroded right out. One minute things would work and then only intermittently. I bought it used so it must have been out in the rain quite a bit. There are two main wires that really run everything. Undo the box and turn it around and check for power with a light probe on both sides of the fuse but near the wire.Don't trust the brass blades where the fuse goes in as they can really fool you. Also be sure that the PTO lever micro switch beside the seat is operational.Nothing will work if that switch is not functioning. (Also in a crappy location for dirt etc.)
Good Luck...Matt
