I got the sevice manual for mt B6000.Doesn't even mention a governor. The problem as I posted previously is that the engine speed will take off. The diesel injector shop says the injector pump is OK.
There is a nut that sets on the front of the governor housing with a cover over it and a set nut to keep it from moving. I'm sure this is some governor adjustment. Has anybody ever messed with this? Does tightening or loosening add speed or resrict speed ? Thanks for any help.
Also, how do you know the engine RPM with no tachometer.
