For some time now, my L48 has had a hesitation in starting. I turn the key to the first position, I can hear a relay click, and the glow plug light comes on, then after a few seconds, another click is heard, and the glow plug light goes out. Just like it always has. Then when I turn the key to start, it had always fired right up. But recently I have had to hold the key in the start position for a few seconds, and then it would start. Well one or two seconds, turned into 5 or more seconds, and then into no start period. I can start it by jumping across starter solenoid to the positive lead, and it fires right up. The day that it finally wouldn't start by holding the switch in the start position for a while, I got a whiff of "electrical hot". I'm thinking It might be a relay, but was wanting some advice to see if I'm on the right track before buying parts. If this problem indicates a start relay, which one is it?? The one by its self, behind the dash in the upper right corner, is the one that clicks upon first turn of the key, and glow plug use. There are 3 or 4 relays on the left side, but I have no idea which one, if any could be the problem. Thanks in advance, for any help!!
