In Reply to: BH-75 Backhoe Hydraulic Issue..... Ongoing! posted by Dragonfly on Saturday, September 22, 2007:
I have the same tractor. loader and backhoe, 2 years old Vermont
Never had any trouble with the loader; I do take care to hook the hydraulic hoses up when I disconnect the backhoe and do the connections with the machine off and pressure released from the system.
I have had numerous failures with the backhoe which started with the mast coming back beyond its normal travel. After some discussion, the dealer/ Kubota renewed the mast cylinder. The new one has an internal check so it can't go past top dead center. In the process, there were hoses that pinched at the base of the mast iinside and failed, that they renewed, but little by little, the rest of the hoses are failing; I think they were all pinched when the mast came forward. now of course the attachment is out of warranty and its my dime. I don't use the machine much, but when I do its often to refusal on large stumps or rocks. I beleive a hydraulic system should work to its designed pressure/ capacity without hoses bursting
