Howdy,
A new battery sometimes needs a little conditioning from a charger to top it off.
more likely you need to clean off the bat terminals and it is possible that corrosion is in the cable under the insulation where it is hard to see. One little trick is to hold the key in the start position for a few seconds then feel for a warm spot on the cable or terminals.
Never use ether on a kubota engine. It can be destroyed.
