Is the tractor jammed in park? Are you parked on a grade? up hill or down hill? Is the part of the spring you can see in the vertical position, pushing on the roller, or in a horizontal position over top of the roller? If you pull on the shift lever is a solid feel, or does it feel like you are pulling on a heavy spring?
