: I need help determining why my tractor is hard to start, upon start i get allot of smoke. once the engine is warm the smoke is greatly reduced but continues to smoke to the point that it is clearly vissible. How can I resovle this.
victor, i am assuming you have a gas 2010,if so sounds like you need new rings,what do your plugs look like,probably black right. are you consuming oil at a faster rate than usual. if so you need to do a leak down test to determine which cylinders are good and which are bad, also dont assume new rings are all you need , measure and inspect cyl walls,pistons,valve seals etc.......
