Dean,
I bought a new L130 for $2500 recently and find it is so cheaply made it probably won't last 10 years if treated well. I just bought a 185 with a 17hp Kawasaki engine for $1485 and it has three times the quality of the new tractor. I would recomend the 185 IF it is well cared for. Check the oil: is it clean and up to full? Look over, under and in it to see if it is lubed and clean. Check for play in front wheels by grabing them and wigling them back and forth. If it's clean, it's a buy.
