: I was driving down the road and the engine on my John Deere 750 diesel started misssing, pulled to the side of road where the engine quit, tried to start it, starter will not turn over, I replaced the fuel filter, have a new battery, when I turn the key I hear nothing other than the relay clicking. any help will be appreciated!
Did you try jumping the contacts on the stater ? That would give you an idea if it was the solenoid on the starter.
