: I was wondering if anyone knows how much a 1947 John Deere Model M tractor's Transmision hold. can anyone shed any light on this would be very helpful. thanks. I am reading from the John Deere M "operators Manual"Oil Capacity 6.5 U.S. Quarts S. A.E. 90 Viscosity. Dont forget the final drives (one on each side) seperate reservoir which require 3.5 U.S. pints same #90 viscosity.
