In Reply to: Value of a Model 330? posted by Gregory Williamson on Monday, July 26, 2004:
Hi Greg,
If the 330 runs good, has no leaks and the mower deck is useable, you can double your money. Check out www.weekendfreedommachines.org for model and attachment info. This and the 332 that replaced it are desireable. If it has a rear 3 point hitch, you can add $300 of value. Hour meter is under the hood. In my opinion, if less than 1500 hours, its a low hour machine, over 4500 hours will soon need an overhaul. While driving, does it accelerate smooth? Decellerate smooth? Go from forward to reverse smoothly? Don't worry if it creeps a little in neutral, that can be adjusted. Be concerned if speed varies a lot with no input from you. Especially if it slows down going up hill, or seems to strain to go up. Steering should be vibration free. Make sure the rear axle has no serious leaks. I hope this helps you check it out.
