In Reply to: Re: 318 hydraulic problem with 54 blade posted by Dave on Tuesday, July 27, 2004:
Dave...a clarification...what I should have stated is that the 318 has two levers. The one that doesn't move is the innermost lever (one that is closest to the tractor). In fact, the lever gives the "feel" that it is almost locked in the neutral position. As I stated before, the lever will move only about a quarter or half an inch and will not angle the blade or lift the blade depending which hydraulic line is connected. In other words, the innermost lever doesn't seem to budge and certainly will not even begin to angle the blade. Will your solution still work? Thanks for everything, Godfrey in Pennsylvania BTW, just purchased a brand new X485 from the local Deere dealer today. Any thoughts on this tractor...it seems to be very rugged. I will get delivery next week.
