My 318 already had that relay wired. I replaced it anyway with no success. What about the starter itself?

Also, troughout the season I have found that when I get off the mower while it's still runiing (w/ the PTO disengaged)it sometimes shuts down as if it's not in neutral. Is it possible that a bad neutral switch is to blame? Where does starting the mower fail if it's not in neutral - after the starter engauges or before?

Thanks for you original response, hopefully you can still help me out. - Dan
