When I try to start my used JD 318, the starter clicks, the lights come on, but the engine won't turn over. I put it into free-wheel to push it our of the yard. I believe I have dis-engaged the free-wheel (I followed the same steps I have in the past to dis-engage it), but I am still able to push the tractor. I have no idea what to do next. I am not sure if something with the free-wheel lever is the problem or if there is something else going on. Can anyone help?
