Welllllll......
They won't rejet it. I keep getting this story that you are up in Iowa and our summers here in Oklahoma are just too hot in comparison and that factory set fuel mix is required to cool the engine and blah blah...and his philosophy is that he'd rather have it burn too rich than too lean and "burn up the engine."
He is adamant that our issue was a bad coil pack on the right causing uneven firing that eventually caused the left to foul to compensate and that only until now we've been checking the plugs at the "right time" after full load instead of before...
I am not convinced a "bad" coil pack is going to manifest itself in "uneven plug load," maybe someone can enlighten me and tell me what they think of the diagnosis of our symptoms in relation to a bad coil pack (I mean don't they just commonly cut out and not just "weaken" the spark??)...Anyway...there was no mention of ohmmeter readings and my husband will be SURE to ask what those were tomorrow....
All I know is that after 4-5 hours the thing starts running rough and so far they've tested it only 2. They want to send it home tomorrow although we don't have tall grass really to mow for that many hours since we've been without rain. We're leaving town for a month so it just feels like yet another delay in getting this problem taken care of...and no....when pressed, he admitted they did not feel the need to ask John Deere to help troubleshoot our problem.
