Well, sadly that is not the case with ours. after three hours on new plugs, the entire plug head(s) were black with carbon. My husband cleaned them, they were a nice, tannish color on the electrodes. After another hour and a half of operation, they are black with carbon again.
Sounds like ours is running rich and they are going to have to deal with it. We will suggest they do the carboretor jets like they did yours (as indicative of a factory design flaw).
