: I have a late 60's or early 70's 110 and can't get the front of the deck up high enough to quit cutting soil. ANY suggestions would be appreciated
: at the front there is a hook opening followed by a hole, which is the correct mounting for the front plate??
There is a plate for the front of the mower. It has two pins at the top (that go into the "hooks") , also there is a hole that a rod slips through, the same fashion as the pins. Then there are two clevis tods running from the plate to the mower deck. If the belt has stretched the rods will need to be lengthened and therefore change the lift angle of the deck. Front tips down. The fix is to put a new deck belt on and adjust the clevis rods to the proper length and it will solve the problem.
