i had a 4240 that would not run very good when hot, and would not start good at all when hot. The injection pump was wore, so when the diesel got hot and thin it didnt have enough pressure to spray the injectors correctly. If yours is a diesel thats probley what id check, if its a gas or propaine maybe itll help some one else
