I'm not familiar with the Kubota B7100 and so I can't offer an informed opinion. I wouldn't worry too much about the belts on the Deere. In my experience, they last a long time and are easy to replace. My 316 is the "baby brother" of the 318 and it is a great tractor for lawn and gardening tasks as well as an excellent snow remover. If the Kubota offers a cat "1" 3 point hitch and a 540 RPM rear PTO, it would be capable of heavier work especially if diesel powered. Something useful on a 3-10 acre property.
