Hi,
My dad and I talked to an older John Deere dealer just the other day. He said that the engine, etc in a 1630 is comparable to the American version, but that the transmission is where the trouble starts, because that is all different. Any of the general parts should be fine to replace. It's just the "movement part" of the tractor that doesn't match up.
