: I have a STX 38 with a black mower deck. The problem is noise. I thought that the noise was due to high lift blades but I just changed to a mulching kit and no relief.
: There does not appear to be excess play in the bearings but when turned by hand there is a low rumbling noise. Also the pulleys do not seem to be precisely aligned (height).
