In Reply to: How big of a brush hog will a 46HP 2010 take? posted by Tim on Wednesday, June 06, 2001:
: Anyone know how big of a brush hog I can use to mow pastures with my 2010?
I have run a 5 ft. unit on mine and it worked fine until you got into Hay length stuff to cut. If it is late spring cutting with moist thick weeds you will have to run in 1st or second. If it is later in the summer and drier and thiner cutting 3rd gear will work. I would think a 6 foot unit Could be too much if you are going to get into thick stuff.
