: How much trouble is there to replacing the fan belt on a 1530...it was kinda dark this evening when it broke and I couldn't see well and I couldn't tell how you would get it over the other pulleys...besides the alternator. Thanks for any help.
Paul: Good Luck, I changed mine last year,(after it broke) & had to remove the hyd.coupler at bottom of eng.& fan shroud & alternator,to get to it. It is a tight fit, but can be done. I bought a belt from Napa, but couldn't get it on, so went to Deere $2.00 higher ,but made to fit better.Good Luck, wasn't real bad after all finished, but quite aggravating. Roger
