I have taken my 212 to the local mechanic and he has "fixed" the varable speed lever 3 times now and it works for about two or three weeks and it will quit working. after I throw a fit of rage kicking the lever and clutch it will work for a few hours and then act up again. can it realy be fixed or can I just bypass the setup completly. the shot gun is loaded and I am tired of fooling around with this thing

any info would be greatly appreciated.
