Our shop is also an independent service that services all brands. I have had this same experience & found that if you contact the owners of the dealership & inform them that if they want to keep your parts business, they will need to have a talk with their people about being more corporative with a little information when needed. Most dealerships realize that you are not in competition with them, and will start sending work your way, if you prove that you can do the repairs correctly. If your local dealership still wants to play hard-nose; pick up the phone & locate another dealer, sometimes that is easier anyway. However if you should receive information as to another good source for technical information please let me know, as we all need to work together. Frank-at Holz Equipment Service
