I'm looking at buying a 1984 318 with suposedly less tan 200 hrs according the meter. I noticed when the motor starts up there is a slight puff of blue smoke. Is this normal for an Onan with such low hrs? and what about compression? He says he just had it checked at the dealer and it was 85lb both cylinders. Isn't this a little low? I thought compression is normally around 100-120lb. What do you guys think? Is the meter showing bogus hrs?
