The 2210 is a magnificent machine and yes it is probably overkill for what you want to do but not by all that much. Kubota makes a fine line of tractors in this size range also and might be cheaper for the same capabilities. It sounds like turf tires are the way to go for what you described. What ever you get, be sure it's comfortable for you to operate as far as leg room, ease of reaching controls etc, because machines in this class will last for decades and that is a long time to own something that ain't comfy. I'd get chains and wheel weights for snow removal. You can't have too much traction in the winter whether you are plowing or blowing snow.
