I'm considering purchasing a JD 2210 with 54" belly mower, FEL, and scraper blade. I have 2.5 acres of which 1 acre has to be mowed. I have a gravel drive at least 700 ft long I have to maintain including snow removal. Also, I do a lot landscaping such as moving topsoil, moving mulch, rocks etc on this property. I realize this is problably overkill for the amount of mowing however I need something with enough power to move gravel, scrape road, move mulch and topsoil. I'm considering turf tires for the machine. Will this tractor be too heavy to take across finished lawn to move mulch and topsoil? Is this overkill for my needs? If so what would you suggest?
