It's leaking way too much oil to consider pushing it any farther. The short block kit from the local JD dealer is 1200.00 and smallenginewarehouse.com has a new Kaw. for 1050.00, so if it fits, the short block is out. The tracter is still in good shape so I'm leaning towards a new engine right now.
