: I just had a limb strip all the blades off this fan. In the past I've had transmission problems with this tractro and believe this fan actually has a purpose.
: How do you replace it?? Any ideas??
: It is buried within the frame, screwed to the main drive belt. With the screws removed, there is not enough clearance to the frame to remove it. It is not apparent to me how to move the transmission away from the frame to allow this repair.
: Thanks
tim,
I had the same problem, and its not easy to fix. You have to loosen the axle bolts on both sides. you also have to unhook the hydrostatic control leave of the bottom of the trans. That should allow for enough clearence to remove the fan. It has been a year since I did mine so I hope I didn't leave anything out.
