I recently had to replace the starter motor on my JD 130. The JD commented that the tractor appeared to running somewhat slowly in each gear. I have fitted a mulching unit on the tractor but it appears as though the clippings are longer than I hoped perhaps also indicating that the blade is not rurning fast ehough. In addition the belt(s?) seem to squeal too easily when the grass is not apparently too long.
Do the belt(s) need replacing? How can I get the tractor to run faster?
I would be grateful for any help.
