John Deere 6200 with Kingfisher post driver

After not using the post driver for a long period, I cannot get the post driver to operate. No hydraulic power. The operating manual is brief and not easy to follow. How can I simply test the hydraulic output? Could low fluid be a cause? Fluid is shown OK on the dipstick.
