In Reply to: John Deere 180 Stalling When Hot - HELP!! posted by Steve on Sunday, May 20, 2001:
: I have a John Deere 180 wih a 17HP Kawasaki and a 46" deck. The engine runs fine for 20 minutes and then stalls. It starts right back up, but I have to keep the choke closed to keep it running. When it's in this mode, it has no power at all. After about 15 or 20 minutes of being shut off, it starts and runs fine for another 20 minutes, then stalls again. I have new gas, new filter, new plug, and a freshly cleaned carb. None of these made any difference. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Steve.
