: Am looking at a John Deere 180 Mower. Could anyone tetll me what it may be worth? Has new bearings in the deck, new blades and belts and is in good condition. Also what year or years was this tractor made? Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Brent
Brent,
I have a John Deere 180 and the original sales receipt. Mine was sold new in 1990 and has a 17HP Kawasaki with 46" deck. I bought it in 1999 for $900. Since then I have had to rebuild the transmission, replace the ignitioin switch, and rebuild the carb. It is a nice tractor though. I mow 5 acres a week with it. I handles tall grass (over 10 inches) quite well. Steve
