Chris - It's possible the gear end of the starter is gummed up, especially if it has sat all winter. Try some penetrating oil on the gear shaft to see if that helps. Also, make sure all the electrical contacts from the batter, starter, solenoid, and ignition switch are free of corrosion. Corrosion robs voltage and can be problematic. Finally, pray that the starter is not shot. If it is, pulling the engine is a must to replace the starter. Good luck. - Dave
