Kevin - It could be something as simple as air in the hydraulic system. Could also be an indication of a need to replace the transmission filter. Another thing to check is the number of turns the steering wheel makes with the wheels fully turned to straight ahead (both directions). The number of turns with the steering wheel should not exceed six in either direction. If it does, you may have an internal leak in the steering assist cylinder or the hydrostatic power steering unit. - Dave
