JD 1830 - can't get into reverse

3 days ago i put 5 gal. of hydraulic fluid in, fed cows, then put it in the shed and put the tranny in park.

went out last night to feed...cant get into first or reverse

any ideas as to what to check??

i am a new farmer and dont have enough experience mechanically to diagnose this problem.
