In Reply to: JD 316 Mower deck posted by Andrew Lewis on Monday, January 13, 2003:
Andrew - There are several to choose from. All of which are no longer available as new complete decks. They are:
38" with model numbers M00663X, M00664X, M00665X, and M0038DF.
46" with model numbers M00595X or M00596X.
50" with model numbers M01011X or M01013X.
Also, there is a 48" replacement deck, which was available new (as recently as 18 months ago). I don't have the model number for that one. They ran around $1100.
A used mower deck in decent shape should run between $250 to $500, depending on size and condition.
Hope this information helps you out. - Dave
