I have recently obtained a refurbished John Deere 430 Standard tractor and am interested in obtaining general historical information about the vehicle and its relative value. The tractor was reconditined by the West Georgia Two-Cylinder Club, Inc., Carrollton, GA., and was raffled off as the Grand Prize during their Old-Time Farm Day on 29 April 2001. If anyone has any information on this tractor (Serial No. 141126, mfg. 1958 or early 1959) please contact me by e-mail.
Also, I own a John Diesel 850 tractor manufactured and sold in 1986. It has only 170 hours and is in excellent condition. I want to obtain an indea as to the value of this tractor alone, and also with a John Deere 261 five foot finishing mower. All in good condition.
